Imagens raras, momentos históricos do futebol mundial. Ou lances desconhecidos de atletas que há muito já se foram. Mais de um século de imagens obtidas em um arquivo pessoal mantido por jornalistas ingleses estão disponíveis na internet.
Por uma indicação do amigo de longa data Alexandre Aníbal, conheci o site de imagens ‘The Football Archivist“, “O Arquivo do Futebol” em uma tradução literal do inglês.
O site é simplesmente espetacular. São mais de 100 fotos entre 1893 e 1982, se eu não me engano. Não vou ficar enrolando, apenas colocarei abaixo algumas das imagens mais legais. Como não consegui deduzir se posso usar as imagens ou não, deixei apenas os links.
